Living in South Australia

Adelaide is one of Australia's most affordable and livable cities. Straddling the rich, fertile plains between the Mount Lofty Ranges and clean, sandy beaches, Adelaide offers a welcoming multicultural setting with a pleasant, relaxed lifestyle. Situated on the banks of the River Torrens, Adelaide boasts wide, tree lined streets, beautiful gardens and parklands, and is home to about 1.2 million people from more than 100 different countries. Like the rest of Australia, the city enjoys a rich Indigenous heritage stretching back at least 50,000 years which is reflected in a wealth of Aboriginal art, culture and language.

Whyalla, located near the head of Spencer Gulf, has a population of 23 000. It offers most of the facilities and conveniences of city living, combined with a relaxed lifestyle.

Mount Gambier is South Australia's second largest city and largest provincial city located 440 kilometres south–east of Adelaide. Set in a unique landscape featuring volcanic craters, the Blue lakes and underground waterways, the city services a region renowned for its forestry, agriculture, wineries,  fishing industries and limestone coasts.
